Meet Sheriff Kevin White

Franklin County Sheriff Kevin White has served in law enforcement for decades. He’s worked, trained, and led in all types of situations: patrol, criminal investigation, domestic violence, drug investigations, and just about anything else you can think of. A leader in active shooter training, Kevin established the first integrated active shooter training event in Franklin County history. Before serving as Sheriff, Kevin was Franklin County's SWAT Commander, and was honored as the Franklin County Investigator of the Year.

Outside of the Sheriff's Office, Kevin has given back to the community in a number of ways. An avid marksman, accomplished sniper, and certified firearms instructor, Kevin has taught countless Franklin County citizens how to safely and effectively handle firearms through his concealed carry classes.

Kevin believes in the importance of implementing our shared North Carolina values in law enforcement. As a father, husband, and man of faith, he understands that in order to provide a safe community for generations to come, the rule of law must be faithfully upheld. In 2022, Franklin County elected Kevin White to lead our Sheriff's Office, and as your Sheriff, Kevin is committed to putting the safety of Franklin County citizens above everything else.
